We don’t need need no steenking law licence!
It’s stupid day.
And why was he being punished?? For working too fast.
That day, Trayson had completed his in-class reading early and began working on another assignment. His English teacher noticed and called him out on it, Paul told the Daily News. The teacher allegedly tore up the assignment and escorted him to Holian’s office, where the headmaster told Trayson to drop to his knees, the Daily News reported.
The incredibly stupid do not realize they are stupid. Proving that Dunning Kruger is real.
This motherfucker has no business being in education.
Period.
This headmaster. Wow.
Anybody ever hear the Chris Rock skit ?
And you know what they did to the smart ones? Or at least the ones they thought were smart. They killed them. That’s what they did. That’s right. That was the policy of the United States Government, to kill smart black people. That’s right. So the real smart motherfuckers had to hide the fact that they were smart. The law of the land was, if you read, you die. If you read, [you] fucking die, OK? So you know what that means? The first black drug dealers didn’t even sell drugs. They sold books. “Yo, man, I got two pages, man, got two pages, man, check it out, man. “Yo, man, I got a word, check it out, man, I got a new word. “I got a new word, man. It’s new, man, it’s new, man.” So think about the poor slaves that could read but had to hide it. Think about the poor slaves that could read but was scared to teach they kids to read for fear they’d be killing they kids. Think about the poor slave who used to drive the buggy into town every day. Used to drive the buggy. He’s driving the buggy – and he could read. And up ahead he sees a real busy intersection. He’s driving the buggy. And then he sees a stop sign. Now he’s got a real dilemma. “Oh, Lor, “what is I gon’ do? “Oh, Lor, what is I gon’ do? “OK, if I go across this intersection, “I’m-a have a accident. “If I stop at this sign, these crackers’ll kill me. “Oh, Lor, what is I gon’ do?” And he don’t know. And he’s riding the buggy. He says, “Fuck it,” and goes through the intersection. He has a big old accident, wipes out. Wipes out, almost kills somebody. And the police come. “N i g g e r, what’s wrong with you? What the fuck is wrong with you? “You could’ve killed somebody, n i g g e r. You see that stop sign?” “I don’t know what you talking ’bout, sir.” “N i g g e r, you see that stop sign right there?” “Do you mean that octagon thing? “N i g g e r, who taught you octagon?”
It’s a straight line from that to this.
ETA: Hey, @asahi – in all seriousness, what consequence, if any, do you think should befall this headmaster, acknowledging that this is happening in real-time, and not going back 10 years ex post facto ?
Which one? Both the teacher (ripping up the assignment and escorting the kid to the headmaster’s office seems over-the-top) and the headmaster deserve scorn.
You are correct.
I amend my statement to “These motherfuckers have…”
Or being a parent, it seems.
The Business Insider article on the black kid who had to apologize to the headmaster goes on to say that the headmaster is on now on leave, but no mention of the shithead English teacher’s name nor what should damn-well be coming of him.
Originally a New York Daily News story, there’s mention of them obtaining a recording of a later-on conversation betweeen the headmaster and the boy’s mom. However, there’s four quotes from the HM (that I thought didn’t help his case) and nothing from the mom. Why does that not surprise me.
Wait, you all don’t force your kids onto their knees before making them apologize?
(Just kidding, this guy must have bought a parenting book written by General Zod.)
So, her blitz of lawsuits included charges that no one was supposed to take seriously?? Or they we too stupid for any smart people to take seriously? Meaning the multitudes of people who DID take it seriously are stupid, so it doesn’t count??
I know pretty much nothing about the law, but if she was bringing lawsuits based on stuff she knew was not factual, couldn’t this cross into criminal?
A CNN article says, “Her attorneys also claim she had a right to make accusations because she was acting as an attorney for the Trump campaign, even during her right-wing TV appearances. As a result, Powell is asking a judge in Washington, DC, to dismiss the case, or to allow it to be moved to the federal court in Texas.”
So are they saying that, acting as an attorney, she spewed bullshit claims? How should such a person be allowed to retain a license to practice law?
True. At a minimum it seems she should lose her law license. They must teach courses on ethics as part of a law degree (stop laughing!).
She probably only audited the class. No pass/fail.
“no reasonable person would conclude that the statements were truly statements of fact”. So, “unleashing the kraken” was an analogy for “unleashing a huge fake sea monster worth of bullshit”. Who couldn’t see that coming? Oh yeah, too much of the country.
I can’t find the text of the Detroit suit against Powell, Wood et alia at the moment but it does in fact specifically reference their failure to adhere to the requisite ethical standards in a rather snarky footnote.
And yet, Trump supporters still believe it.
Trump supporters are not reasonable. It is possible to for them to become reasonable, in which case they can make the decision to stop supporting Trump.
If they continue to support Trump, they’re still unreasonable.
