I do know that rape is horrific no matter who it happens to, and that it’s a real problem in prisons (abuse happening from both prisoners and correctional staff) and it’s not something to joke about. I’ll refrain from commenting on it so lightly.
I’m super confused about what the issue is supposed to be. She says right in the video that “we thought we had a clear window” so this obviously wasn’t some sadistic experience she was putting him through intentionally. It’s also not clear that the boy is crying rather than simply shielding his face (wet from rain) from the rain and making faces of discomfort. Nor is it clear she’s laughing at him rather than at the unexpected uncomfortable situation they both find themselves in.
The issue is that she voluntarily posted the video. (I think.)
But she also once posted a video of herself applying makeup while her toadie of a husband stood behind her holding her makeup. And I don’t understand what she was trying to prove by posting that one either.
But she married Eric Trump, so what more can you say?
The child certainly seems to me to be pleading to be allowed to get off the thing and either be carried to cover or himself to run for it, and then she says “No, you can do it, let’s go!” The child’s gesture (loose fist lightly rubbing against one eye) seems stereotypical and kind of fake, but I think he is upset. The scenario seems to show that she is more concerned about the toy than about his unhappiness. Possibly she is just clueless.
I agree that the laughing does not seem to be specifically at the child, although it certainly lacks any trace of sympathy. I also don’t see the point of her posting this, but lots of parents apparently post all kinds of pointless stuff with and about their kids.
An idiot from the Massachusetts National Guard, who was off duty, pursued and tailgated a bus with a Tallahassee banner on its side because he assumed that it contained immigrants from Florida. He also livestreamed it. It was carrying senior citizens on a tour of Cape Cod. Once cops were called, the official report says it looked like he was impaired, but he denied it, and apparently they didn’t test him, though he was taken away by ambulance. The National Guard were not pleased.
I can’t either, it’s very faint in the background since the mic is on her. It’s mostly his manner and tone, and her response “No, you can do it, let’s go” that leads me to believe he is asking for relief of some kind.
And yet I have constant arguments on another site about how, since guerrilla tactics worked in Vietnam and the Middle East, the armed militias we have here in the States would absolutely, embarrassingly mop the floor with the US military.
