In the first post, you framed the question in a way that was dishonest, and your post’s missing relevant information was supplied by other posters.
In your second post, you posted a complete non sequitur, putting words in other posters’ mouths. No, we’re not as stupid as you seem to think, that you would get away with this amazingly lame tactic.
Side note: this isn’t even a good thread for this incident to be discussed, as the only stupid MFer in the story is the person you are defending.

Here’s how Fox News is promoting this:
The IWF is a nonprofit group that was created as a “conservative alternative to feminist tenets”.
The “evidence” of an assault in that article is a chaotic video that seems to be from a cell phone, and all I can see is Gaines being escorted by police as protestors chant. I’m not saying an assault didn’t occur, but police were there and nobody was arrested so I am pretty skeptical.
Everything I can see is that she claims she was “hit twice by a man”. That’s it. I’m not going to take her word for it, so it’s useless to ask if I condone it.
Riley’s a total anti-trans bigot though, and a darling on the right for it.
If the eight police officers present didn’t see it, it probably didn’t happen. At least it did not leave any marks.
The peaceful sit-down demonstration is not an assault, especially when Gaines said that she would welcome people who wasn’t agreeing with her.
