Omnibus Super Bowl XLVI Thread

Absolutely. My bad.

Being a lifelong Steeler fan, I absolutely HATE the Patriots. But if the Giants and Pats somehow play again in the near future, I will be rooting for the Pats. Real winning teams take their trophies and keep quiet. Okay, maybe they’re allowed to boast a little bit, but they usually display plenty of humility as well. The current and ongoing comments from many of the Giants players and management are freakin’ embarrassing to the city of NY.

And the biggest mouth on the Giants, Brandon Jacobs, keeps on talking! The most egregious of these comments was made towards Giselle Bundchen recently: “She just needs to be cute and shut up.” How the hell does he say something like that about another player’s wife? Somebody needs to go after that man’s knees and end his pathetic career!

The irony of a Steeler fan bitching about players on other teams being loudmouthed or showing a lack of humility will allow us to feed irony starved kids in Africa for decades to come. Thank you for you donation, and remember, third world kids need irony too.

Poe’s Law corollary: Heinz’s Law.

Cites please. The Steelers are regarded as one of the classiest and humble organizations in all of sports, despite the large amount of haters they have.

You do realize you have James Harrison on your team, right? And Ben Roethlisberger.

Let’s see, Harrison lashes back at the league for targeting him. And Ben gets drunk and has sex with a drunk woman. How are these related to the Giants’ lack of humility after winning, and Jacobs’ sexist verbal attack on another player’s wife?

Ah, you’re delusional. Never mind, then.

Why should a team show humility after winning the Super Bowl? And what lack of humility have they shown anyway? Do you have more specific examples than the one by Jacobs?

Wow. You are really deluded. Put down the Kool-aid son.

No team talks more shit. No team disrespects its opponents more. No fans are more whiny. The Steelers have become a meme.

Funniest thing I’ve read today.
