Omnibus Super Bowl XLVI Thread

What a game this is!

I think he was expecting more contact and couldn’t stop his momentum in time.

I don’t have anymore nails to bite. Giants D has to step up big time.

Tough 57 seconds to come…

Brady has never had to do this in a Super Bowl. He’s always just needed a field goal.

This. He tried to stop, but he was going too fast to fully stop. Unlike a QB, if he slides forward momentum counts.

Sacked!

So many drops by NE receivers.

Well, that was a quick three downs. One play to go? We’ll see.

Giants win!

Good game. That was exciting and interesting to watch.

The Giants are the worst team to ever win it, that’s for sure. They didn’t deserve to be anywhere near this game.

Well, I was wrong.
I called Giants by 5.
Oh well.

heh heh heh

Eli rocks!

Great game

The GIANTS win the Super Bowl!

I wonder how Vegas made out. All the stories I heard was that all the action was on the Giants, even to the point that they probably should have dropped the line all the way to 2.5.

I mean, I know they’ve got the vig, but still…

A fantastic spectacle. Phew!

Given that the line held steady it’s tough to say. I read they were more worried about all the “fans” that took them to win the Super Bowl at 100 to 1 back at the end of Week 15…

I had no dog in this fight, but I DID have a rabid Patriots fan who worked for the Army Corps of Engineers who made my life hell for eight months, and made my final job the worst I ever had. I hope you’re crying, motherfucker. I hope this ruined your entire week. I only wish I could see your face when that last pass failed. Fuck you.

Oh bullshit. They won the NFC East, beat Atlanta at home, then beat Green Bay and San Francisco on the road. They earned the right to play in the Superbowl, and they beat the Patriots fair and square.

As for the game itself, I found it suitably epic. Big hits, clutch plays, down to the wire.
