Does anyone else who reads this board think the Williams sisters (the tennic players, Venus and Serena) are both gorgeous?

The Williams sisters are not unattractive. I personally think Kournikova and Amanda Coetzer are two of the lookers on the women’s tennis circuit, though.

Neither of them is ugly, by any means, but neither strikes me as a likely candidate for posters on a 14 year old boy’s bedroom wall!
Truth is, few top female athletes are very attractive (well, there’s Mia Hamm, of course!). That’s why Anna Kournikova is such a star. In most lines of work, she’d be regarded as very pretty, but not drop-dead gorgeous. But compared to her colleagues, she’s a 10.

To those guys who think Kournikova is so great, let me clarify. One of the most attractive features of the Williams sisters is that they can actually PLAY TENNIS and WIN.
I personally can’t stand Kournikova, and I guess that affects my opinion of her looks. She’s an overhyped egomaniac. The Williams sisters both are classy, gutsy competitiors. Not to mention MUCH better players than Kournikova.

Yes, but Serena’s much nicer and cultured than Venus, and I’d rather have her.
I think they are both lovely, although I personally prefer Venus.
Serena more cultured than Venus? When did this happen? I saw Venus on The Tonight Show a few years ago, and she seemed like any other 6’1" 18-year-old. I thought she was as cultured as one could expect of someone who has to travel the world for their job while still a teenager. What she said after beating her sister during Wimbledon (that she tried to get her off the court fast becasue Serena was crying) spoke volumes about her level of culture, I think.
I have to agree with Medea’s Child. We must have more Drainthelizards in this world.
By the way, to stay with the OP, yes, they are beautiful, inside & out. Nice to see gracious young women on the tennis court.
Very nice from the neck down, of course most female tennis players fit that description.
