Recently when I was using google I can accross porn involving dogs (It’s not important how or why I found it, suffice it to say that I did). Now the extra appendage of the dogs in question looked absolutely nothing like anything I have ever seen on a dog, so I chalked up the difference to pornographer creativity, and over zellious photoshopping, and the pornongrapher trying to avoid a cruelty to animals charge from teh SPCA or PETA.
But then I found doggy porn from another site, THE DOG HAD THE SAME LA LA. Now this is starting to bother me, if the weewee is completely made up, it should varry from pornographer to pornographer, but it didn’t the penis was exatly the same as in all other porn with a dog. So why do all doggy pornographers use the exact same penis?
** Can someone copyright an image used in porn? Like the dog’s membre? Granted that would lead to some strange lawsuits (He used my dog’s penis unlawfully, he didn’t pay the proper dues for the use of my dog’s penis), but considering that all the dog penies I’ve seen look exactly alike, I think that it is definately possible for someone to sue someone else over this.

It’s not fake. A dog penis is very different from human penises (obviously :rolleyes: ) in that at the base, they have a ‘knot’. Basically, during intercourse, the knot of the penis swells up ALOT, making it look very abnormal. But its purpose it to, in fact, lock the male’s organ inside the female’s vagina. Hence the pictures you see of dogs stuck together during mating. This usually lasts about 10-15 minutes. The purpose of this, although I’m not positive, is to ensure that no other males can access the female before his sperm has a chance to do it’s job.

Re- You’ve never seen anything like this on a dog- generally you only see the sheath covering the penis. On those days when a dog is particularly leg crazed, the tip may protrude from the sheath. The yelling, swats on the nose, and such that most folks employ at this point prevent the dog from becoming aroused enough for the knot emerge.
Copyrights In Porn- Pornography is covered by the same laws of copyrights, trademarks, and such that apply to everything else. However, photographs or other recordings of humans engaging in sexual activity with dogs are illegal in the US. I have no idea if you can claim copyright on illegal material.
The Dogs Penises Looking The Same- Of course they look very similar, they’re penises of the species canis lupus familiaris. Unless you had very detailed images and took a lot of time to study them, you’re impression would be that they were identical or nearly so.
