He kissed me, after the third pool game. We kissed again in the parking lot before going our separate ways. It was a little surreal, because I’d just met him, but mostly very, very nice.
I think it goes both ways: no matter what sex you are, being a decent kisser is always a plus. That said, I don’t know if I can pinpoint exactly what it is that makes him a good kisser . . . definitely confidence, but I can’t describe the “technique” or anything.
You need pictures! There are some good ones of you from Dopefests, you should nick one or two. Seriously, I never read profiles without pictures. (yeah, I’m probably shallow but so are a lot of people) Alos, I don’t really get a sense of what you’d be like to hangout with from your profile but I don’t know how to fix that; I think my profile (under t_violet) is much the same…
I’ve noticed today that I don’t see pictures in some of the profiles that I know have pictures. Like ultrafilter’s, for example – and my own, and that of the guy I keep babbling about here. But I can still see Incubus’s picture, and I see yours, etc. It’s weird. I hope it’s just temporary.
Not that ultrafilter can’t stick up for or explain himself . . . I just got here first.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that too occasionally but I’d checked his several times to see if it would show up. But there’s a good one up there now. I think he should also put up the one with the Sharpie forehead 'cause it’s amusing…
I was experiencing some weirdness last night with pictures on OKCupid. It seemed to get better later, so maybe they were updating their software or something.
I just wanted to pop into the thread to say good luck to all the online-daters!
I met my fiancee on Yahoo! personals, and also met a lot of good guys on the Onion.com personals.
It can be a lot of fun once you start talking to people. I still talk online to some of the guys that I met, as friends.
Also, don’t get discouraged if you don’t meet someone right away. I had a profile on both Yahoo and the Onion for over a year before I met my man, and he was actually the only person from Yahoo that I ever met in person.
