On the giant metaphorical road of life...

Let’s say you’re driving on the giant metaphorical country high that’s life. You see a sign that reads, “Last Exit before Heartbreak.”

Shit, man. This is it. If you’re going to turn back, you’d better do it now. No exits until the last stop, and you’re not sure where that’s even going to be.

So when you see this sign, what do you do?

a) Gun it. There are some things in life that are worth the risk.

b) Pull over by the side of the road for a bit. Listen to a couple of tunes on the CD player / smoke a cigarette / chill for a bit before getting back on the road and driving the speed limit.

c) Keep going, but only because you’re too damned lazy to look for anywhere interesting to go.

d) Make a U-Turn. This wasn’t where I was planning to go…not where I was planning at all.

e) Write your own.
