In one episode they show the name “S. Glass” next to a room in the hospital’s asylum (if you will) where Belle is kept. I’m not sure exactly which episode it was, but I think it was the season one finale, A Land Without Magic. (The name was briefly shown when Jefferson rescued Belle.)
Yup, he was Rene, but more importantly he was Britt from Terriers.
I have nothing to back it up, but I like the idea of Neal being Bae.
After all the show tends to economize on characters–Rumplestiltskin turns out to not only be someone who spins straw into gold, but he’s the Beast, the Crocodile, and the source of the angst that turned Jiminy into a cricket, as well as the Evil Queen’s tutor. In fact, he seems central to just about everyone’s story. What’s surprising is that he hasn’t yet appeared in a flashback of the story of Rumplestiltskin.
You know, the Grimm fairy tale.
We have seen that backstory in that we’ve seen Rumplestiltskin spinning on several occasions, he’s interested in taking children in his deals, and Cora is pretty obviously the miller’s daughter of the tale. In Storeybrook, where many of the name are little puns on the HEAL characters, Regina and Henry’s family name is Miller.
Oh. Yeah, I don’t think they’re doing that. They’re adapting and changing the fables as they go.
Like that.
