I think Bale might have met Pinocchio/August at one time or another. I’m disappointed we didn’t see any August this episode. Did August send the bird? Is he still made of wood? The other theory out there is that Michael Raymond-James is Henry’s dad. He could both be both Bale and Henry’s dad, then Gold and Charming would be his grandpas.

If He is Balefire - he would be atleast 14 years older than Emma - assuming he didn’t ‘warp in’ on her 14th birthday…

Gold said something a few episodes ago about how he didn’t know how old Bale would be now.
It’s not clear that we (the audience) have any solid information on how time works in HEAL or Storeybrook.
I’m sure the writers have a plan for Bale, and I’m curious to see how he works into the storey.

I skipped the recap/preview episode that aired right before the season premiere, but this morning one of my co-workers told me that it had some good (i.e., new) back-story info and was worth watching. Thoughts?

Hmmm… I watched it, but I didn’t give it my full attention. I don’t remember seeing anything new in it, though.

I watched it too, and did not see any new information. They clarified some points, like Regina knowing all along about the curse when she was in StoreyBrook which IMHO makes her behaviour the first couple of episodes stupid. Not just stupid, but triple-o stupid. Stooopid.

I’m hoping we get some of last season’s guest stars to reprise their roles, like Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Kristin Bauer van Straten as Malificent, and Amy Acker as a clumsy fairy. And I wonder if we’ll see Giancarlo Esposito back as Sydney Glass/The Mirror, since he’s got a regular role on the new show Revolution.

Dunno if any of the others will be back, but I did notice Emilie de Ravin is now listed with the regulars, and not as a guest, so there should be plenty of her this season.

Mulan? Really? Who’s next? Tarzan? Hercules?

I figure if this thing hits season 5, they’ll have to start bringing in Pixar properties. If Emma gets teamed up with a ripoff of Knight Rider (a somewhat modified Cars,) remember that I called it first.

I think Sulley would fit in HEAL very well. Have him being held prisoner by Lotso.

There was a wooshing effect right after Emma touched her on the arm - Regina picked up on it, but no one else apparently did.

::sigh:: You’d think after a year (more?) of living with Rumpelstiltskin, Belle would have known to extract a more exact promise from him.

She did, actually, she made him promise not only not to kill her, but something along the lines of “not succumb to anger again”. He definitely violated his promise.
