8 at breakfast, and somehow miraculously 19 at lunch even though I don’t think he’s getting sick. His blood sugar has been a little wonky recently. And yeah, it can create that kind of behaviour but he was exactly as irritating last night and his blood sugar was between 7 and 5, which is perfect.
I’d do the math, but it appears Gnat has run off with the calculator, and Thomas is teething and in his nine month sleep regression, so I’m about up to making popcorn chains today, mentally.
(my bold)
Does that mean you got the glass out of your crack?
Don’t you know the standard rules of healthcare say, whenever one leaves a job, the last shift will always be a bitchkitty? It comes somewhere after rule one and two. (1. people, even nice people die. 2. We can’t change rule one.) and before rule ten. (All bleeding stops; eventually.)
I’ve had a bleedout, a burst brain aneurysm, an emergency chest opening and various other odd and freakish last nights. It’s the law.
Dindin tonight shall be ham ‘n cheese omlettes, grits and bizkits cause I’m in a brekkies kinda mood. Then we get to go to a visitation at the church house. How is everybody else’s day goin’?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Have I regaled the MMP with the Tales of the Haunted LG TVs at the hotel? No? Let me give you the short version while reserving the full one for a future MMP: Every single person who works at The Hotel has vowed upon their loved ones graves and/or lives not to buy anything LG because LG, we have agreed, stands for Less than Good.
It’s a GE. Apparently the delay was caused because the apartment managing company had to order it from Lowes and so we all had to wait for shipping. I’m going to make peanut butter cookies tomorrow and use my cookie stampers for the first time in ages.
Bobbio, I don’t think that herniated discs are cured by applying broken glass, but nice try!
Awesome story, Bobbio! I’m with picu on the “you musta got the job” based on the ickyness of your shift.
You sound like a neighbor we passed on our walk yesterday. She was breaking up ice on the sidewalk and her comment was: “Anything to avoid housework.”
So…are you done grading yet?
Hope everyone’s BG has stabilized. Nat’s behavior sounds lots like phases my (both non-diabetic) nephew and my godson went through at about the same age.
Yay for new stove, Spaz!
Sorry about icky Monday, rosie.
My Monday was rather tedious. So I didn’t get as much done as I wanted to and got home later than desired, but…not horrible.
Now I need to go find food (reheat leftovers from last night’s dinner at friends’; I have AWESOME friends!) And then need to do some getting ready for niece and nephew arrival tomorrow night.
Tom Kitten is getting his first tooth. Did I mention that? He’s just been put to bed and is loudly unhappy with us because he;s cursed with a) bedtime and b) teeth.
We got a… thing today. In the mail. It’s this box, and it means we can watch stuff from our computer on our tv. Mr. Lissar is setting it up right now. DUnno what it’s called because I don’t do this hi-tech stuff. I get my toddler to log in to the intarwebs for me.
Actually worked today. Doing more tonight and tomorrow. Tomorrow morning is the hearing for my name change, at the ungodly hour of 8:30. Bleh. I need to get off the computer and finish my dad’s present before they get back from taijitsu and then get back to work on the paying gig.
ETA: I found out why the feet are dragging with the new job finalization. The hang up is the position won’t be funded until Clowngress passes a meaningful continuing resolution to keep the gubmint running. I can haz Maalox?
