Behind 0-2, the Aussie hitter drills one to deep center with two out, runners on first and second. The Cuban center fielder makes a circus catch, but the ball clearly, no question, visible from anywhere in the park, fields the ball off the fence. That is a fair ball, and two runs certainly would have scored and Australia would have had a runner on second.
Possibly another gold medal defining screw-up.
