One of my favorite iOS 6 features

I noticed this as well, and it’s being discussed on Apple forums.

One suggetion that helped me was to depress both the off/sleep and home buttons until the phone shut off (ignore the swipe option screen). Wait a few minutes, then power up the phone again. If you want, PM me and I’ll send you links to some of the forum threads I read. Best of luck.

Am I the only person that likes the new map function? I have a 4s and with the upgrade, I don’t need a GPS anymore since my phone functions like one. I used it yesterday and it worked pretty well. It would re calculate if I missed a turn and have turn by turn navigation. The only drawback is I have to shut off the bluetooth on the maps in order for it to give instructions by voice. I think that there are still some issues with the maps, but overall I like them.

I think he’s saying the new OS is too slow because it’s added those extra features, so running the same apps on that OS won’t help.

I think that’s the price you pay for choosing the phone that is always playing catchup on features. I’m sure you feel that the tradeoff for whatever you get out of the iPhone is worth it.
