Re-read the OP. The fuzznuts didn’t even remember what he said 2 minutes prior.
And how does what I made on 1 job negate the fuckupedness of this twit? While my rant may be lame, it is justified. Your previous post was not.
He made a mistake – a tiny mistake of no consequence whatever to you. And you gave him shit for it. How do you think you came across to him, if not as the kind of prick who would make a huge deal over a 50-cent mistake? It’s a lame rant, and it was even lamer to get angry with the kid in the first place.
So just out of interest, how much do the values between offer and request have to change before it’s worth getting angry about it? $1, $5…?
That’s where having an ordinary sense of proportion comes in. If it’s your own money, and the amount hurts, then you might have cause to be a bit disgruntled – disgruntled, mind you, not abusive. But where it’s only fifty cents and not even your own money…?
Where did I become abusive? I slammed the money down and walked off. That’s abusive? What kind of pussy would think that’s abusive?
I don’t suffer fools gladly, and that kid was a fool.
But, if you’ll recall, I’m the one that said it was lame to get my undies in a bunch over it, then you fucking come along and act like I pulled my pistol and shot the idiot.
That’s not abusive?
And if it was lame to get your undies in a bunch over it then, it’s lame to get your undies in a bunch over now. I don’t see much sign of unbunching.
I didn’t get annoyed by it but I had a WTF? moment with a cashier recently. I paid $2.15 cash for a $2.14 purchase. I reach out my hand to receive the penny in change and the cashier tosses it in the take-a-penny tray without saying a word or even looking at me. She had already turned away to converse with another employee. I am more amused than anything, mostly by my own reaction of WTF?
Nope. Saying you piece of (I did NOT finish the sentence) and walking out is a justified expression of intolorance towards idiocy.
Mine’s the opposite problem.
I get too much change back rather frequently (three or four times a year, which is a lot IMHO) and I always give it back if I realize what’s happened.
And I’ve had more cashiers wig out than you could fathom. They’re not even grateful I’m being honest–half of them seem to think I’m trying to make them look like an idiot.
No, you didn’t look like an idiot til you stood here arguing with me about it. Who the HELL pays more for something than they have to? I’m gonna start keeping it then, fuckwit.
No I’m not. I’m just going to whine about it here.
whine
I don’t subscribe to that point of view – that a minimum wage job is worth only minimum effort from an employee. If someone has that attitude, good luck getting a better job, or performing well at it if they do.
Also I’m wondering if he washed his hands between mopping and making the sandwich. :dubious:
