I’ve been watching *Young Adult *with Charlize Theron. The baby naming ceremony was very painful to watch! Ouch! I can’t remember a movie scene where I felt so sorry for such an unsympathetic character. I had to stop the movie for other reasons and have yet to watch the rest but…shit!..that was brutal!
Any other nominees for most cringe worthy scene? I’m thinking more along the lines of social awkwardness/embarrasment than like physical stuff.
I watched that last week. Not exactly a feel-good movie but I enjoyed it. I thought Patton Oswalt gave a pretty good performance.
I thought Young Adult was one of the best films of last year and Charlie and Patton both deserved Oscars. Two sad broken people but very real about it all.
The scene where she goes to the book store and tries to act like a big shot author and she doesn’t realize that the books are all discounted because they aren’t selling is pretty cringe worthy.
I’d have to say probably half the scenes of Ken Park. Man that movie’s messed up.
