Bruce Almighty is a good movie, y'all [spoilers]

Sure, it had a predictable plot (and a bit of a message), but it was well done.

And outrageously funny!

One scene that had me wheezing and gasping for breath and peeing my pants wasn’t even Jim Carey!

Sure, not a very intellectual film, no long cars chases, no plot twists, no heavy dialogue… just good entertainment.

(It deserved its PG-13 rating, though… And I had a passel of kids with me!)

Two thumbs up.

I saw it last night and thought it was good. It did turn into a terribly predictable mess about halfway through (but what Jim Carrey movie doesn’t?). The funny parts were really funny and the mushy parts were really mushy. Good film though.

NoCluewas the scene that had you gasping and wheezing the one where:

Jennifer Aniston has the “divine orgasm” and knocks over everything in the bathroom

Well, that was indeed very funny. But, what I left a stain in the seat over was

the newscast with the ass hole guy, where Bruce was making him say od things and then just got silly with it.

Quack–I was giggling like a schoolgirl over THAT scene. I loved it.

NCB–Yup. Me too.
I really did like this film, but then again…I’ll like anything with Jim Carrey in it, even the horrifically bad “Truman Show” and “Man on the Moon”.
IDBB

Jim Carrey is one actor who is consistent. He won’t put out movies intended to be funny and then they suck. Where he tries to be funny, he suceeds. I will be seeing the movie tonight.

That movie rocked. My favorite scene was:

When Bruce Nolan put together the freelance TV news story on the unexpected discovery of Jimmy Hoffa’s corpse. And the connected discovery of what was in Channel 5’s news van
