Whats the general feeling about this movie? At first glance it looks like an instant flop, but after seeing a few of the commercials and the movie trailer I have to say that the 2 kids appear to have nailed those roles. They both look and sound exactly like Jim Carrey and whats his ass.
Anyone have an opinion about this one?

I don’t know. You can tell the Jim Carrey character didn’t actually hit his tooth with a hammer the way Jim Carrey actually did. That sorta spoils it for me. (OK, not really. I’ll probably watch it when it comes on tv, like every other movie out there.)
When I first heard there was going to be a prequel to one of my favorite comedies of all time, I was stoked!
When I heard that neither Jim Carrey or Jeff Daniels would be in it, I was disappointed but still interested.
When I heard that the Farrelly brothers were not directing, I lost any desire to see this movie.
If it comes out and I hear anything good about it, I might watch it on video. But I’m sure not forking over $8 at the theater for it.
Looks like complete junk to me. Then again, I didn’t like the first one, either.
And on the basis of the popularity of the first one, it will probably do great box office the first weekend.

I didn’t see the first one, because I just don’t enjoy stupidity for its own sake. As for making a SECOND one…I’m voting for the puking smilie next time.
I had a chance to be a extra in the movie when they were filming down here. Now I’m kicking myself for oversleeping and missing it. 
I always wanted to be in a movie.

Hey, on the upside, this means you can be an extra in a BETTER movie. 
I wasn’t aware there were trailors out for it already. I’ve heard of the movie, but not seen anything on it. Any sites where I could see stills?
