I have seen 30 random abandoned shoes on the roadside in and around the Nashville TN area in the last two years.
So i guess what I’m saying is i just don’t get it
Portkeys.
That’s not a one shoe mystery. That’s a 30 shoe mystery. Which, being an even number, is much less mysterious.
Just remember the old saying: “I wept that I found a bunch of mysterious abandoned shoes, until I met a man who found a bunch of mysterious abandoned feet.”
At least I think that’s how it goes.
In my youth, it was common to see single shoes by the roadside. Maybe 20 years ago, it became rare. I attributed this to the ubiquity of car air conditioning – thus, no more open car windows. In the past year or so, single shoes have once again begun to appear along the road.
Just in case it matters . . . this is happening in Tennessee.
I guess we’re all still waiting for the other shoe to drop.
That’ll happen once they start using those Chinese flamethrower drones to clear all those shoes off of the power lines.
