“Dutch oven and the French are toast!”
I didn’t think it was that bad! Actually, I found it really exciting. It was full of action, mistakes (made by the players and by the refs), opportunities… I saw one of the most stupid injuries ever (the two Romanians knocking their heads when they jumped - one of them will actually be going under the knife).
Did you see Romania-France? That was a snoozer. Nothing happened!
Well, I was only talking about the first half. It did pick up afterwards. But what about the Dutch? Genius goals out of nowhere, they are great to watch.
Yeah, the Dutch were brilliant… I’m Romanian, so I hope for at least a draw with them next week, which might be enough to get us qualified, but after the way they played their first two matches I’m not really confident. So far we have kinda squeaked by (with help from the nice Norwegian people 
).
The first half? You mean the half with the disallowed goal, the half-dozen chances by the Italians that missed, and the couple of efforts by the Romanians that were kept out by luck (not to mention two Romanians giving it their all and knocking one of them out of the tournament?)? You mean that half???
I bet you don’t think Luka Modric played well yesterday, either. 
It was a bit dull in the first half of the first half, come on.
Modric? The Croatian player? Not sure what your point is.
Luka Modric was adjudged the Man of the Match for Croatia. There were some who were criticizing his play. :rolleyes:
Flipping heck. And I thought the match against Italy was overwhelming. I’m speechless. I haven’t seen Holland play this good in years. :eek:

Spain are not impressive today. Perhaps Russia was really that bad the other day??
Both sides seem a little flat, don’t they? Other than the little flurry a bit ago they seem to be playing for the draw.
Boosh. And Villa pulls it off in the end, after a rather dull second half. Yay!
Well, Sweden just got its just desserts. Neat goal at the end there for Spain.
Now for the Russia v Greece snoozefest.
Quite an intriguing first half, but the second half was a whole pile of meh up to the goal. I’m glad Spain won anyway, watching Sweden is far too much like watching England. Now this Greece/Russia game, yeah it sounds boring on paper, but they both need to win remember.
May I just say that the Russian team is super tasty?
