Me and the rest of my familiy are huge fans of The Onion. We’re so into it that sometimes we come up with our own Onion-style headlines. Yeah, I know, we’re dorks, but it’s fun.
“Bread and butter area chef’s ‘bread and butter’.”
“Bobby Darin on scarlet billows: ‘they start to spread,’ he notes.”
“Euclid on non-Euclidean geometry: ‘it’s bullshit,’ he says.”
So, yeah, pretty stupid. I’ve got dozens more.
Does anyone else do this, or something like this?
A whole bunch of us did about 5 years ago. It helped to get through the aftermath of 9/11.
