Anybody have any input on the offerings of University of Leicester? I was thinking about kickstarting my way back into studying with their online program. I can manage the 5 day orientation visit, and whatnot,
I know nothing of this particular school or the program you link to, but I can offer some general observations in my past experiences with online schools.

A classroom and a chalk board is a surprisingly efficient means of disseminating information. Online/correspondence education lacks the same classroom dynamic and the like.

Assuming you buy point #1, you’ll find that to compensate for the lack of brick and mortar classroom, you need far more, and far more intensive directed readings.
In short, it can be good to work around a busy work schedule. However, it’s by no means a “time saver” as opposed to a proper university degree. I won’t even attempt to say anything as to the quality of the degree.
I too do not know that one, but; I attended online college and it was very interactive. The classes were held at the exact same day and time every time. There were very few absences and the professor was live every time. The blackboard was replaced with an interactive edit screen, we could even raise our hand to speak. Mic and speakers required.
