I’m browsing fedora and derby hats online, and most of them have a feather on the side. I don’t want one with a feather. Do people buy them and remove the feather or are there online hat websites that offer hats without the feather?
In my experience the feather is just tucked into the band, not glued or fastened in any way. I just throw it away.
You can buy hat bands separately to suit your style. Feather to your liking.
