To offer you some support, I had no idea what it was, and I’m not a stranger to porn on the net. I’m guessing it’s just one of those things that’s been advertised in the background and just never left an impression on me. The name sounds vaguely familiar, but I would have assumed it was a sports betting website.
I’m fine being with the minority – I’m just surprised how I missed this, given my browsing history. That said, yesterday, pulling up to the expressway on-ramp, I noticed the car in front of me with a message written on it saying something like “support onlyfans! Sweetness7939” (username made up, but of that structure), so just could have been a blind spot for me.
I thought OnlyFans was that site where you can pay celebrities to read voicemail messages and stuff like that. If it’s something else, I had never heard of it.

And it’s not like I’m pretending to be some internet innocent- I have visited a porn site or two (purely for anthropological reasons, of course).
And of course the SDMB has aged hipsters coming out of the woodwork to shake their walking sticks and revel in being out of touch in this thread.
This sort of thing - “I’ve never heard of a major internet culture site that’s regularly featured in news and lifestyle stories, and you’re the weird one for thinking that’s unusual” - is why there’s almost literally no posters here under 30.

All I know It’s where the young female celeb BC& D listers have been gaining exposure and side gigging during the pandemic. Models, singers & actresses. I’m not inclined to visit the site. I know not of any dudes who feature their talents on the site.
