I bought my ornament last night! I was out in a New Age sort of store, with all kinds of cool looking doo-dads and such, and found a beautiful, little, glass…oh, I suppose I’ll have to wait until some lucky Doper receives it in the mail, eh?
I can’t wait to get a name!
Now I just have to figure out how to package the silly little thing for safe mailing… :dubious:

I think I have everyone’s info, and will start sending out matches tonight.
I have discovered something about myself: I am quite nearly incapable of buying an ornament for someone. I stand there, in front of literally thousands of ornaments, and I pick one and say, “Oh, now THAT’s cute! I’m sure he or she would LOVE that one!” And then, a split second later, I think, oh, for heaven’s sake. Look how [rustic/modern/glittery/plain/Santa-oriented/non-seasonal/whatever] that is…how can I send THAT? And then I move six inches down the aisle and repeat the whole process. When I reach the end of the aisle, I go back and start over.
But fear not! I put the children in charge, and they picked something…well, large. It’s adorable, in the sense that it’s really big. 
It’s actually pretty cool.
I’ll send info to each partner, then I’ll post here so that if I miss anyone, they can holler for help.
(Do other people say “holler” or is it just a Hoosier thing?)

Okay, here are the folks I’ve sent info to thus far. Darn hotmail has erased some of my messages, so I had to fish on the SD for email addresses. If your SD info lists a different email than you normally use, you may want to check it, assuming your name is on this list.

If you are mailing to Canada, please read the new regulations. Most of the mugs that were shipped to Canada from the U.S. are in limbo somewhere. If you follow the regs to the CAPITAL letter, perhaps the ornaments will have a smoother trip.
Mine is made, packaged, wrapped and off to the post office by the end of the week. How cool am I?

OK, mine’s in the mail as of this morning, Dec 02. I learned from the Coffee Mug Exchange and my ornament is really well packed, so it BETTER NOT BREAK (Sorry again, Venus!) And I also enclosed some extra little goodies! Hope my recipient enjoys!
