Rules, Requests and Suggestions
In your sign-up email, include your user name, your real name, and your mailing address
If you don’t hear back from me (either in the thread or by direct email) that I’ve added you to the list, remind me. If email is being wonky, this will ensure you aren’t missed.
If you are willing to ship internationally, please so state.
In any email to me, please put “SDMB Ornament Exchange” in the subject line, as well as your SDMB username. This will help me keep things organized in my mail folders.
When you send your ornament, PLEASE wrap carefully to avoid disappointment on the part of the excited recipient
Please post and/or email me when you ship your ornament and when you receive your ornament. Saves a lot of “did you get yours yet?” emails.
If you sign up, and later find you cannot send anything, please let me know; this will (hopefully) reduce the chances of someone being disappointed. We’ve had a couple of no-shows - one in each of the past 2 years - and everyone’s sad when that happens.
I’ll try to send out the first batch of matches by the 3rd of December. I may be able to do another round of matches after that if we have enough interested latecomers.

Actually, I have something of an ornament addiction. I blame my grandmother, who bought all of us kids one every year right up until I was almost out of college. It’s her fault. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
