Mah Na Mah Na.
The weird part is, the song was written for a soft-core titillation movie, Sweden: Heaven and Hell. This clip stops before anything too interesting happens but I’m making it
Some that come to mind:
Third Eye Blind - Semi-Charmed Life
Crosby, Stills & Nash - Suite: Judy Blue Eyes (starts at 6:31)
Lou Reed - Walk on the Wild Side (starts at 1:15)
If you think the studio version is wild, check out the live version where fhey had to fit a 7-minute song into 4 minutes of TV time and decided that, instead of trimming it down, they’d just do it twice as fast.
I’m afraid to click on that for fear of some injury. I’m serious.

Underneath the “Doo doo doo doo doos,” there are actually lyrics in Spanish, though they’re difficult to make out.
It’s not really all that fast. Probably a better tempo than the original to tell the truth, but God I hate that song/
I saw Focus in concert. They played a very long version of “Hocus Pocus.” The line for the women’s bathroom was so long, I missed most of the rest of the concert.

Yes - “Sound Chaser”
Moved to Cafe Society (from MPSIMS).
Oo-ee, oo-ah-ah, ting-tang, walla-walla bing-bang.
ETA: Missed that it was already posted. Apologies.
I, too, was a high school soph, and there were some odd pop songs being done around that time. However, the 50s, with their doo wops and sham a lams (I am not getting these right, sorry), topped anything done before or since. Did I like this song? It was good dance music, for a 16 year old in a very short skirt and long hair (you could really move with it).
Na, na, na, nanana na, nanana na, Hey Jude.
Alternatively, “Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye” by Steam.
