One of those odd kid memories popped into my head today. I vaguely remember this from 1st or second grade in the 70’s. The tattler chanted it in a sing-songy voice right before they went and tattled. I don’t remember it lasting all that long(and I have no idea how to spell umbrrr).
Anybody else remember something like this, or was it just one of the weird things my school came up with?

I don’t remember “Ummmbrrrr,” but I do remember a drawn-out “Uuuummmmm…” denoting that you were about to be in trouble. This is from southern California in the 70s.
