I know very little when it comes to OpenBSD. Currently it is not detecting the device as a network card. It doesn’t shop up in ifconfig -a but If I pull the USB cable I get ugen0 detached on the screen and when I put it back in I get ugen0 at uhub0 port 1 ugen0: 3Com 3CB 10/100 Ethernet Adapter, rev 1.10/1.01, addr 2 I am positive it should work because http://www.openbsd.org/i386.html says ADMtek AN986-based USB adapters (aue), including 3com 3c460b are supported. If anyone can help me I’d appreciate it.
Have you tried “ifconfig ugen0 plumb”?
I’ve never worked on OpenBSD, but on other Unix flavors, you have to plumb the interface before you can assign addresses, netmasks, etc…
The only plumbing I know is using a plunger in the toilet I
I tried plumbing it as you suggested and I get backl
