It’s their ten-year anniversary.
Awesome! Thanks!
Cool, thanks!
Great! I was still using the 7.x version.
Terrific! I’ve been wanting to try Opera but hadn’t wanted to shell out the bux. Thanks!!
I thought Opera was free in the first place.
Free with an ad banner.
Yeah! I love Opera.
The 'Dope membership pays for itself once again.
Cool, thanks!
Thank you very much, Revtim!
Thanks lots, Revtim! I’m a Firefox user, but have always wanted to be able to compare with Opera. Didn’t want to deal with ads, though.

Thank you much, used it for the first time today. Smooth running browser. Firefox,IE6, IE7 and now Opera not a website I cannot use.
I’m going to try Opera again because of this. That rocks. Thanks Revtim!
I downloaded Opera and installed it today. It isn’t a bad browser, but for the life of me, I can’t see why it is any better than Firefox. That is, unless I missed something somewhere along the line, which definitely IS a possibility.
The one thing I’ve noticed that Opera does better than Firefox is that if you have a bunch of tabs open, and you close the “top” one (i.e., the one that’s displaying), it takes you to the one that was open most recently. Firefox, on the other hand, takes you to the tab that’s to the right of the one that was open, regardless of which was open most recently.
I haven’t really checked out Opera’s skins and such; are they any good?
(And thanks, Revtim!)
jackelope- Focus Last Tab Extension
Which is perfect to illustrate the difference between Opera and Firefox. Opera comes packaged with better features overall but in the long run Firefox’s extension capability makes it the better browser. I can install whichever extensions I like and end up with a superior browser to Opera without features I don’t want wasting my computing resources.
If Firefox ever comes up with an extension that mimics Opera’s keyboard shortcuts, I’ll switch. Until then I’m sticking with A and Q.
Will keyconfig do what you want, chique?
Sweeeet.
Well, this became kind of a useless endevour. Opera is now totally free, and ad-less.
