Also, what about this “Proactive Preemptive Operations Group” I keep hearing about? Any truth to the rumours?
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, look them up. They are interesting… But I am having some difficulty checking on the veracity of stories involving them.

NORTHWOODS (US 62) Plan proposed by the US Joint Chiefs of Staff to create terrorist incidents in the United States and elsewhere that might justify a US invasion of Cuba. It was suggested that casualty lists would create a public demand for an invasion. In one case, it was suggested that any possible failure of John Glenn’s orbital space flight be blamed on Cuban electronic interference.
