What is your opinion of the blue-collar, working class neighborhood of Southern Brooklyn? One of the most beautiful neighborhoods in N.Y.C. The neighborhood is politically conservative, having voted for Republican Rudy Giuliani, Michael Bloomberg, and Joe Lhota for mayor and currently represented in the State Senate by Republican Martin Golden. The neighborhood was in the 1977 classic Saturday Night Fever.

Well, it’s no Queens or Staten Island.
Neither is Niwot.
Bay Ridge is fantastic and has several excellent pizza places.
Relatively affordable rent, great middle eastern food.
Bay Ridge lies about two neighborhoods to my south. I know some people there. Some people in Bay Ridge are upset about bigots who don’t want any social change. Some people in Bay Ridge would like to know why bigots don’t want gays in the military. One of my former professors lives in Bay Ridge. He doesn’t care for bigots, either.
