I think you need to go back and read again, because as it stands Pythians statement seems to have casually whooshed right past you.
This may sound strange coming from me, as I have come down on the “just because something is in the Pit doesn’t mean that you have to be a jerk” side of things in the past, but I think that I am going to agree with the “lets not have any rules in the Pit” suggestion.
It may be that I have just noticed the glurge spillover more of late, perhaps it is the realization that you are all just a bunch of electrons dancing on my monitor for my amusement, but I have to suck it up now and admit that I was probably wrong and that being nice, like anything, has a time and a place and that the Pit ain’t it. Let’s make the Pit nasty again! Let’s make it the forum that decent posters wont admit to checking!

Who is the current “new december” anyway? The last I see, Milum picked up the title a year ago , but surely it’s passed on to Aldebaran or someone since then. It only seems fair that we should ask the current “new december” what he or she thinks about your proposed rule. 
That’s the only rule I think should be needed in the Pit. Keep the MPSIMS stuff out.
But what if something Mundane and Pointless is pissing me off?
