Orange Juice : How much pulp do you like?

My parents raised me on that Tang crap.

I now drink the Homegrove Style of OJ…enough pulp to choke a tiger.

I’m such a rebel.

For every bit of pulp I find, I will kill you!

“i am the antipulp, ill run against the grain 'til the day i drop.”

No pulp. None. Zip. Zilch. Zero. Nada. 100 percent totally and verifiably pulp free.

Otherwise, there shall be a messy cleanup as my stomach contents empty in revulsion.

In case you couldn’t tell, I don’t much care for pulp.

Mmmm, pulp… puuuullllllpppp…

Gotta have at least some pulp in my 'juice. I like cracking the pulp between my teeth, and feeling the small ‘squish’ as the juice gets freed from it’s confines. (I do this also with roe.)

If it doesn’t have pulp… Dunno. It just doen’t taste quite right to me.

I used to hate pulp, but now, my mom buys this really great brand of orange juice you could eat with a spoon. It’s so yummy. The bits of pulp aren’t all icky like other brands, so they don’t get caught in your throat. Wish I could remember what kind is was. Some Tropicana type, I think.

I usually don’t like orange juice very much at all. I won’t drink it away from home. Restaurant orange juice is all sour and nasty.

If I wanted hunks of orange, I’d eat an orange.

When I’m drinking juice, I want it to be liquid, darn it (please forgive my strong language, but I feel strongly about this.)

NO PULP! If there’s any pulp, just put it in the blender until it begs for mercy, then run it through a strainer! Or, preferably, a cheesecloth!

Well, I’m female and no pulp for me. To throw a wrench into your theory, though, my husband abhors pulp, to the point that ONLY Minute Maid Pulp Free OJ is acceptable.

Another one on the pulp-free bandwagon. How can people drink that stuff?

Pulp is **bad[/d]. Ick!

I hate when the pulp is stealthy, and you can’t see it right away…take a big gulp and surprise!- It’s pulpy!

Bleh bleh bleh bleh bleh!

The texture is just so wrong. No pulp for me, please.

I got so worked up and distracted by its disgustingness I forgot Preview.

Hee!

Another hell no pulp vote! Someone here (I think it was Blu) said it was like drinking a glass of Sea Monkeys. shudder

That is DISGUSTING!

gags Vile, vile, vile! No pulp. Any pulp makes me sick. Ugh, ugh ugh ugh.

[sub][sup] I’m going to go brush my teeth now. Sheesh. [/sub][/sup]

I’m not a cobb or corn, so you can stop butterin’ me up. I don’t need you to tell me how good my coffee is. I’m the one who buys it, I know how fckin’ good it is. When Bonnie goes shoppin;, she buys sht. I buy the gourmet expensive stuff 'cause when I drink it, I wanna taste it.

Strong coffee, OJ with pulp – “I wanna taste it.”

Fresh squeezed - with pulp
From a carton - no pulp

Does that make me strange?

No pulp for me. Can’t stand the stuff. I have to buy pulp-free OJ. My wife and daughter like it with pulp.

Mmmmm…pulp. I love pulp and I don’t like the frozen OJ. Blech. And I really only like Tropicana. Mmmm…pulp is so good and this thread is making me kinda thirsty. I think it’s OJ time!

No Pulp, some pulp, whatever. Lots of pulp, though, just blurs the line between beverage and meal. If you have to drink something to wash down what you just washed something down with, you’re doing it wrong. Trust me, I’m an expert; when I go home for Christmas, my mom has to buy a gallon of OJ for every day I’m there.

And how can anybody drink an OJ other than the variously pulpy Tropicana Pure Premiums? From concentrate OJ tastes terrible, out of a can OJ tastes like grapefruit juice, extra calcium OJ tastes like chalk, and this new low acid OJ tastes like baking soda.

No pulp for me. Whenever I visited my grandparents, they would serve me fresh-squeezed orange juice, which tasted great, but it had huge amount of pulp that I used to spit out.

Excellent Question. Tropicana comes with three levels of pulp: Original (no pulp); HomeStyle (medium pulp); Grovestand (lotsa pulp)

I prefer the medium pulp.

Fresh squeezed is a rare treat. Medium pulp.
