What English word rhymes with Orange??
Silver.
I thought it was Bulgaria.
Porridge? Forrage? Close???
Frangipani - no, sorry, that’s not it, that’s the only word that rhymes with Indiana. What was I thinking? Oh, yes.
Gorringe - Percy Gorringe - but how many poems can you write about a Wodehouse character and fresh fruit?
Thus sprake aseymayo:
Bertie Wooster went to eat
At the home of Percy Gorringe.
He made give Jeeves a treat
Of an after-dinner Orange.
Burma Shave.
Well, that’s one. Here’s another:
There was a young fellow named Gorringe
Who was strangely in love with an orange
Jeeves came to the rescue
And introduced him to fescue
Now Percy’s as mad as a door-hinge.
Door hinge, though thats 2 words.
Minge. Oooooh! how rude!

Re: This Thread/ The Vile “Rhymes With Orange” Question/An Irish Curse On You & All Your House & Line.
May the curse of Mary O’Meara & her 9, blind, starving, orphan children pursue your tattered soul over the hills & the rivers & the lakes & the streams until God Almighty Himself couldn’t find you with a radio telescope, a Giger counter, a team of trained bloodhounds, and a complete set of Shell Roadmaps (circa 1963).
There.
I feel much better now…
There is no English word that rhymes with orange, but that’s not so very unusual. There’s no English word that rhymes with purple either, ulesss you count maple surple.
Hmmm I think I saw this question at least three times before but no one says why they want it.
