Order of the Stick - Book 6 Discussion Thread

The [del]wolf[/del] worg is okay, but I just re-read the update, and realized why I like Oona.

It’s because she treats MitD with respect, and converses with him. It’s as though she sees him as an actual being, with motivations, desires, and reasons for the things he does.

The way O-Chul did.

Although, it is a limited sort of respect, that recognizes only the possibility of him being on the “beast” side of the master/beast dichotomy.

And it’s really sad that that’s still more than most of Monster-San’s associates.

1038 - Goblin to Goblin is up.

The grim specter of noogie hangs over us all. How true is that!

OK, now I’m sure Rich is just trolling* us.

    • For a given value of troll. Or goblin. Or whateverthehell the MitD is.

I’m reminded of the cat who’s currently boarding with my mom-- She’s so affectionate that she actually refuses to be fed until she’s had her noogie.

Oh, and confirmation that Oona is a bugbear, though I think that was pretty well consensus by now.

I guess at least Oona (and maybe Redcloak) understands Greyview so MitD doing so ain’t no big thing.

Heh, Nilbogs…

She doesn’t look like an insect.

I sense that Rich is poking fun at the people trying to figure out who the MiTD is.

“Quick, kids: figure out which monsters have “trenchant political analysis” as a special attack!”

Half insect!

And the other half is camel?

So, she’s into anal?

Don’t pretend you weren’t thinking it too.

I’m pretty sure that one was just you.

Hah! “Trenchant political analysis” as a Special Attack. I guffawed!

I am also pleased to see The Giant correctly spelled the plural of “shaman” as “shamans.” It used to always bug me how often World of Warcraft (both the game and its players) got that wrong.

I prefer shapeople.

What about shapeless oples?

Wasn’t Sha-People a '50s doo-wop group?

… Sure, why not.

I think I can see the hump!

Anyone else think the statue, post-paint, looks a bit like Burlew?

great concept for the tomb
