Prediction: the news fox will be the villain of the next arc.
Also, Belkar will meet Solt’s widow and children and start experiencing guilt for the first time.
He will then heroically save Tinkertown from the fox’s evil schemes, thus demonstrating continued character growth.
Also, “bleah” at tinkering gnomes.
I notice it has not occurred to Roy to ask, “Hey, why am I still holding this rope!?”
And this fellow may have been a gnome.
“Leeky.”
I like my way better.
But Leeky is more druidy!
Funny, he doesn’t look Druish.
It’s fitting that it’s Blackwing sympathizing with Roy when people don’t pay attention to what he’s trying to say.
Speaking of, I’m deeply disappointed I didn’t get to see Giant Blackwing-Roc.
Dangit, I was sure I’d get it this time!
Anyway. Wheeeee!
Love it when someone proves that he is right, and the rest of the world is wrong.
Man, Belkar better work on his Will saves if he’s ever going to make it in the vampire hunting business. He’s 0-2 so far.

Until one day you’re just a little different than you used to be and you can’t even work out what happened.

I think that’s as clear as we’re going to get that Belkar’s act is no longer really an act.
I think it was intended more to be ironic. Belkar really is talking about other people and doesn’t realize what he’s saying applies to himself. He still thinks he’s just wearing the mask not becoming it.
Belkar is definitely talking about himself.
Whether he knows he’s talking about himself is a different question.
So, how does Durkon explain this one?
And would Belkar have survived the drop, like Tarquin? Or is he too low-level?
