I suspect he’s going to reveal the location of an item that Durkula realizes can totally destroy him, like a remote destruct switch for the room he’s now in.
Crazy thought here:
Durkevil has committed to seeing the whole memory, no skips or breaks.
If it was a memory of glaring sunshine (and if Durkevil’s protective spell is inactive or has been dispelled) could that possibly affect him?
He’s already seen a memoryof a bright sunny day . Didn’t affect him then.
I suspect it is information that is deceptive. It will look to Durkula like it is incredibly useful or important, but it actually isn’t.
1125 is up. woo hoo
Noooooooo!
(OTOH, if those are dying words, those are awesome ones.)
You missed the smiley
But we now have the mechanism by which Belkar is going to be freed. Mr. Scruffy is concerned about his fellow Animal Sidekick Superfriend, and so will intervene to protect V. The vampire dominating Belkar will attempt to order him to attack Mr. Scruffy. And that is the one thing that goes against Belkar’s fundamental disposition, which will break the Domination on him.
ACK-tually, sunglasses do not block sight or else they’d be worthless so I don’t know WHAT Blackwing was thinking! Worst comic ever.

Some people in the GitP thread have suggested the purpose of this strip is that we won’t be able to see when Belkar gets un-dominated. Makes sense to me.
Or…Mr. Scruffy uses the distraction to grab Roy’s bag of holding and release Bloodfeast.
I want to see a dinosaur eat vampires, dammit!
If Belkar does get un-dominated, the glasses might work to prevent him from being re-dominated. But it’s too late to prevent the original gaze.
You mean Belkar’s BoH. But then we’d also have to have someone cast a Dispel Magic on him.
Nah, probably taste awful. Definitely not like chicken.
I’m guessing a bit like black pudding (the real-world food, not the D&D monster).
Actually 1126, the Giant made a typo.
Anyone else hoping li’l Kudzu goes all Jack-Jack on him?
N/m
It IS very dangerous to Durkula to put Kudzu in the line of fire. It seems to me that it would break Hilgya’s domination all by itself. And she’s already in the shell so no protection from powerful touch attacks.
I assume that’s where this is going, but I still think it would be amusing to have him suddenly hit Durkula with an effective “Tuh uh deh!”.
Not against a vampire. Against a Vampire you want SuhBurt.
