I got a box from ookadook, but as this is something one of the kids might have bought for me for Christmas, I hid it, rather than opening it.

Well, if one of the kids gives me a different copy, I will pretend I didn’t buy it myself, and accept it gratefully. (And may have a copy to sell cheap, if anyone is interested.) If they don’t give it to me, I’ll pull it out after Christmas and read it.

Just ordered ‘Utterly Dwarfed’. I’m paying more for shipping than for the actual item.
Yeah, a friend was going to get me one book for Christmas, but when he saw the shipping, figured he might as well get me two.
I bought book 6 and another book (Good Deeds Gone Unpunished) together thinking I’d save on shipping. I don’t think I did or not very much. They used a box to ship the two books, so the shipping was higher than for one book in an envelope.
Yeah, back when I found the comic I looked at buying the previous strips in book form. Saw what shipping did to the price and backed right out of that idea. Shame, but I’m just not interested in paying that much for the product.
Old habits die hard. This came up in notifications and I was, “Oh, boy! Another installment!” that changed to, “Nuts,” about the time I was clicking on the link.
So… will someone start a new thread for the new book, or continue this one?

Usually some kind soul puts a link to the new thread in the existing one once the new one is up, which will happen when the first strip of the new book is available.
