If he was producing a new strip once or twice a week, the story would have ended by now and we wouldn’t be getting any updates. The discussion would be “remember what a great strip Order of the Stick was?”
In that alternative universe, Rich is penning his third series which isn’t as good but has a smaller but still loyal fan base.

Dun Dun DUUUUUUN!
Why does Belkar need to ask for a piece of string? He already had one that Scruffy was playing with. IIRC, it was something Haley pickpocketed from that kid in Sandsedge. I’d give a link or two, but I’m too lazy to hunt them down. I guess Burlew forgot about it.
Awwww.
Did you ever try to take a string away from a cat? No point speeding up that prophecy…
…Because that’s the one that Scruffy plays with, of course.
Sheer speculation:
With his dying breath, Belkar opens his Bag of Holding and lets Bloodfeast fall to the ground (or it happens by accident, whatever). He dies, but the vial shatters and one pissed-off allosaur is the New Problem Team Evil has to deal with.
Just putting that out there.
I’d be quite surprised to learn that neither Redcloak nor Xykon has Baleful Polymorph prepared.
Or any of the numerous other spells that could effectively deal with a big animal.
It’s still one more thing they need to deal with, though, and they already have a lot fewer actions per round than the heroes. And it becomes even more relevant if the fight takes place, at least in part, in antimagic.
Or after they’ve burned a significant amount of their prepared spells.
I thought the Quintuplet was taking care of most of that…You know, the five-armed robot thingy, whatever it’s called.
Either a Quinton or Quarton, I’m not sure we ever settled.
Hey, question about Bloodfeast’s current condition: if the Flesh-to-Stone antidote is administered while he’s still pocket-sized, do the effects of the Shrink Item spell become instantly nullified? IOW, does he immediately become allosaur-sized, or does he remain pocket-sized until V’s spell wears off?
And i don’t remember the empathy peas at all.
I don’t remember the empathy peas either. But we should give them a chance, is all I’m saying.
More purple thread things appearing, I see.
I think the peas work better if you whirl them around. I’m trying to visualize that.
