I liked the skill monkey aspect of 3rd ed. bards. I once ran a mafia-themed campaign, where the goal was to take over the criminal underworld of a particular city. One of the characters was a bard with ranks in Perform: Lawyer. No ranks in Profession Lawyer, because he didn’t actually know the law, he was just really good at emotionally manipulating juries.
Just what i came to post. 
Yeah, at the beginning of this book, Burlew posted that a character who had only been seen once before would become a major ally. It’s been speculated that this referred to Sunny, based on strip 32, but (especially with the art style change) it wasn’t clear that that was the same beholder. This pretty much clinches it, though.
Can I just say that intentionally walking Banjo must be the worst idea in the world? How is he gonna hit a home run? hehe!
Look at the size of his strike zone! Elan never stood a chance against Banjo.
I think it’s interesting that we’re being reminded of Banjo. More gods, more colors…
I dunno, when you’re pitching to a literal god, an intentional walk sounds like a pretty good idea.
Presumably Banjo is a banjo (weak) hitter, so no sense in walking him.
Nah. High and tight. Give Banjo a little chin music, teach him not to crowd the plate so much.
Now, Banjo’s brother, there’s a real slugger.
Maybe soon this comic can get back to, like, adventuring, or something.

Well, Roy’s about to be locked out of the room so that’s a sure way to make something happen.
Roy could use the telepathic link to Blackwing to send a request to be let back in. Whether he thinks of using that link is another question.
