Does anyone know where O’Reilly gets those engraving images for their covers?

In a nutshell (get it?) they were inspired by the Dover Pictorial Archives, an collection of copyright-free engravings, with varying degrees of customization depending on the title. A friend of mine has one of the Dover books she found several years ago at a used bookstore.
