I’ve heard that the original version of “March of the Penguins” was not the version we saw in America, with Morgan Freeman lending a sonorous narration to touching images of penguins struggling to survive.
Supposedly, the original version had silly voice overs of the penguins talking to each other, which I hear produced a very different (cheesy and not so touching) effect on the viewer.
Anybody know the truth? If there’s a clip of that dubbed version, I’d love to see it.
