Goddamit. I was at the fucking game. UC had em by the nuts till the last goddamn minute. Shit. I even bought my little brother a 'cats hat to wear when classes start at OSU next week. Fuck.
At least made them look bad. I don’t know if it’s worth having to endure getting sunburnt while sitting next to a bunch of drunk midstate fuckrods in Suckeyes cheering section, but it’s something.
I was at Oktoberfest downtown yesterday and they kept announcing the scores over the loudspeakers whenever one side would score. I was really hoping for UC to pull off the upset so that I wouldn’t have to put up with a bunch of arrogant State alums talking about how splendid their team is all year. Still the 'Cats took them down a notch or two. If your receivers would only learn to catch the ball in the endzone. I’m sure it was one of the most exciting games in UC history despite the outcome.
Ivylad is a rabid Buckeye fan. We watched the game, and there is no way OSU should have won, with all their mistakes. UC should be proud of how they held up.
Why do men watch football games if it gets them so riled up and mad? How is it enjoyable to shout obscenities at the tv every five minutes? To bitch at blown calls and missed opportunities and unseen penalties?
I have to admit, we played like shit. Cincinatti had the momentum for most of the game, played surprisingly well, and deserved the win. We won by luck, really.
Because most of the guys who do that kind of shit are failed jocks who are POSITIVE that they and they alone have the answers that will lead (insert name of team here) to the championship.
Fucking losers.
You are failed jocks, deal with it.:wally :wally :wally :wally :wally
Makes me really glad that I don’t go to games anymore but am quite content to sit alone at home and watch them.
Dunno if it was luck, but it was something. I was in the 20th row, and even from there I the size mismatches between the two sets of linemen were obvious. For me, the most suprising aspect of the game wasn’t the fact that Guidugli kicked so much ass, which we’ve kinda come to expect, but that UC’s D managed to wrap up the OSU ball carriers with three or four dudes on 75% of the tackles. I suppose I should be happy that I got to see the expressions on the faces of the Buck fans when their team ended the third quarter down by five points. Talk about fish outta water…
UC gets a big, fat smooch from this Virgina Tech fan. You guys might not have won the day, but you undeniably did knock the Buckeyes down a peg, allowing the Hokies to take an unexpected step up. Moreover, OSU now has to go on to face the likes of Wisconsin, Penn State, and the vicious Golden Gophers knowing that everyone’s seen them with their fly down.
My roommate here at Univ. of Kentucky is from Cincinnati. He echoes black455’s feelings on the OSU game.
He and I went to Cincinnati last weekend to watch UC play West Virginia University. UC’s would-be game tying field goal in the final seconds bounced off the goal post. He had similar feelings at the end of that one. As a neutral spectator, I enjoyed watching the game, especially since I have friends at both UC and WVU. Would’ve been nice to see it go into overtime, though.
