You’re kidding, right? I can’t believe they are messing with a classic.

Well, yes and no. They ARE introducing a new version of the game which uses an ATM card instead of paper money, but they are also retaining the classic game.
[QUOTE=kanicbird]
The IMO was about the ability to channel demons through Ouija boards, I took Q.E.D.'s statement of “No, it cannot. There is no such thing.” to refer to the existent of demons, in which case it is directly anti-scriptural - there are demons, they exist, to deny that is to deny the Word of God. Now if Q.E.D. was referring to there is no such thing as a ‘channel’ to summon them, then yes that would be a interpretation of scripture.

Ah, and I see you were right. Fair enough.
True. But you still managed to do what he did on a larger scale.

And wait until you see what they have in store for the classic “Ouija Board”! It’s a system that doesn’t use a pointer. It’s an electronic board that texts you messages to your pager. Now you don’t even have to move a pointer; you simply connect it to your fingertips via electrodes and voilá!

Yes, I admit this …
QED and myself are coming from 2 different perspectives here. In QED’s eyes he has decided on his own that there is no ‘god’ (and no demons), he does this by his own authority - that even in his own eyes I’m sure he will admit that his authority is not binding on myself.
From my point of view God is real, the Creator and ultimate truth, the authority of what I said comes in the name of Jesus, (and actually openly professing Jesus is Lord is part of my faith) and I am empowered and authorized to speak in Jesus’ name. So yes there may be other ‘gods’ which support various faiths, but all is under the ultimate authority of God the Father.

But the important question that NO ONE has addressed! Will we still be able to get classic Ouija?!
Hmmm. I think I’d better get to the toy store and buy all the classic ones up in advance.

For an encore, are you able to lift yourself up by your own bootstraps?

There is no evidence for any God (or demon), so QED has not decided this on his own.

Who empowered you?
How did they do it?
Who authorised you?
Why are you not subject to Church authority?

Doesn’t this sort of bump up rather hard against the First Commandment?
Not really. The First Commandment is “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; you shall have no other gods before me…” He leaves lots of room for other, lesser gods. He just doesn’t want them hogging all your attention. It’s like your spouse not wanting you to drool all over your attractive new neighbor.

If those other gods shall not be had before him, how can they be the intermediaries that **Kanicbird **refers to? How does it square with Deuteronomy 6:14-15? –
I am asking you, as he appears to choose to have you speak for him.

Now here’s our problem. Some posts in this thread seriously need smileys. (IMHO, that one. ) Others seriously need seriousness. Problem is, I can’t tell which are which.
So without program notes, some of us are in serious danger of getting whooshed. And that’s a smiley.

Well I’m answering anyway , there are no intermediaries. Going through one such intermediary would be spiritual adultery and could incur a horrible curse.
