Our #1 kitty- gross TMI (*don't* say I didn't warn you!)

Yep.

My girl cat is also fascinated with my husband’s willy - when he’s just out of the shower, she follows him around, jumps on the bed next to him, and whines until she’s able to get close enough to give it a big sniff.

She also gets VERY upset if I go into the bathroom and dare to shut the door. She’ll scrape underneath it and howl until I let her in. And then she’ll just stand there and stare at me until I’m done. It’s quite disconcerting, to be honest.

My Mom’s cats are the opposite. They also hate cat bowl water…to the point where my Mom doesn’t even put out the water bowl any more.

How is this the opposite, you ask? Well, she also has a pretend “fish bowl” with plastic fish in it on top of one of the dressers…yup, they jump up on top of it and drink from that. I think letting it “air out” must remove the chlorine from the water or something, maybe they like the additives in your area?

One of our cats, Misty, thinks that the kitchen faucet is her own personal drinking fountain. When she jumps up on the sink and starts crying, we have to “drip” the faucet so she can sip at the water. Yes, we have pictures.

Of course my Buffy prefers lemonade.

This thread reminds me of a t-shirt I’ve seen that says “Dogs have owners, cats have staff.”
Our old-timer has so cordially tought our two kittens his bad habits. They prefer any water to their own bowl. They will drink from the dog’s bowl (apparently they don’t know it comes from the same source) and they insist on drinking out of my water glass. The old-timer will stare me down if my glass is nearing empty. So, like a good little servant, I refill it, let him take as much as he pleases, then I am allowed to commence with drinking my own water. One of my nicknames for him is “King Tut”
Uh oh, Master is coming now. Gotta go
