outed by the internet!

I’m sitting at my desk, enjoying my parfait and I get an e-mail saying that a friend of mine (one my best friends) has requested to be my friend through friendster.com. I click on it, accept and all that then decide to see what I put on my profile since it had been so long since I went to that site.

It gave very little information: Age, Gender, Location, Type of Relationship sought. It all looked fine to me.

Just then my phone rings. Aforesaid friend calls to say: “I didn’t know you were Bi! OMG! I had to find out on the internet!”

Sheesh! I thought she knew (or at least suspected it)!

Was she . . . intrigued? :dubious:

no… just surprised I guess… My friendster profile says that I am looking for friends, relationships with both men and women.

I think she was trying to keep it cool, but I could tell that it was shocking to her.

You think that’s bad? I strongly suspect that the twin sister of a friend of mine has no idea that my friend is bi.

That’s almost as bad as having someone reply to your PlanetOut.com profile, and finding out you went to highschool together. And not only that, but that you had your lockers right beside each other because you have the SAME LAST NAME. We also have somewhat similar first names too. That could have turned out to be an odd odd relationship.
