Does anyone know why MSN-IM starts up when Outlook Express is opened? Any one know how to stop it?
(It is MOST annoying!!!)
Start up outlook express, click on the tools where it says files edit view tools message help. Pick options from the menu that drops down, and you should be looking at the general section of the options. Uncheck the box that says “Automatically log on to msn messenger service”. Click apply then ok. That should do it. HTH
Uninstalling IM is the easiest solution

LOL! I agree, but my wife asked me to install it as a quick way to check her Hotmail account.
It is also automaticly installed with my Game-Voice.
