Outlook Express to Outlook .wab vs .pab is AFU

I’ve searched, but didn’t find advice which works. The specifics are: Outlook Express 6.0, Windows XP Pro SP2, Outlook 97.

I’d like to copy the contents of the .wab in OE to Outlook and have them accessible there, which presumably means the file must be saved as a .pab I tried exporting the .wab to my desktop as a .csv, but Outlook would only import to the inbox, and displayed an error message when requested to do that.

IIRC the PAB is only available in Corporate/Workgroup mode (used with Exchange Server). You should be able to import the .csv file into the Contacts folder though.
