overheard urban legend - munchkin suicide

At lunch today, minding my own business, I overhear a conversation between a group of people and the topic of “The Wizard Of Oz” comes up, which leads to the comment that the movie has a scene showing one of the munchkins killing himself.

It was all I could do to refrain from blurting out, “That’s an urban legend. The scene in question is a large bird. Check snopes.”

At least one of them finally said, “It’s probably just a rumor that isn’t true.”

Is it true that Shirley Temple was a member of Pink Floyd when the death occurred?

Made me think of this

I heard it was Judy Garland. She bought her way into the band – hence “oh buy the way (in); (the) witch one’s Pink.”

And, of course there’s that whole synching thing.

Ridiculous. Everyone knows that the munchkin in question lived a healthy life as an artist, where he mostly added subtle penises to Disney posters and popularized the grafitti “Killroy Was Here.”

He later impregnated Jamie Lee Curtis, who has a penis, and they had twins - one grew up to play Mikey, the Life cereal boy who died by mixing Coca Cola and Pop Rocks, and the other played Cha-Ka on Land Of The Lost, then the sidekick from Wonder Years, and later became Marilyn Manson.

Since his death he splits his time haunting the set of Three Men And a Baby, and A Toys 'Я Us in Sunnyvale, CA.
